The great exhibition "SHIRLEY JAFFE, An American Woman in Paris", is currently presented at the Centre Pompidou de Paris, from April 20th thru August 29th, 2022. Shirley Jaffe (1923 - 2016), an American painter who settled in Paris in the 1950s, is a referential figure in abstract painting at the turn of of the 20th and 21st centuries. She claimed, provocatively, to have discovered Pierre Bonnard in New York, then Jackson Pollock and Andy Warhol in Paris. This exhibition is her first retrospective. Outstanding !

The National Portrait Gallery of London is currently presenting a fascinating and beautiful photographic exhibition which illustrates Audrey Hepburn’s life (1929-1993), who became worldwide famous with the « Breakfast at Tiffany’s » film and because of her philanthropic intensive work with the UNICEF. The exhibition is open until October 18th, 2015 only ! This is the place to be in London !

Carl Andre, Alexander Calder, Chuck Close, Richard Diebenkorn, Dan Flavin, Philip Guston, Donald Judd, Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, Roy Lichtenstein, Brice Marden, Agnes Martin, Cy Twombly and Andy Warhol are the fourteen American artists presenting 49 emblematic works at the Grand Palais, until June 22nd, 2015 in Paris. This great exhibit presents what will be showed by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) when new spaces will be opened in Spring 2016. From the beautiful Calder's aerial sculptures through the other masterpieces, 49 masterworks are presented from the SFMOMA and Donald and Doris Fisher's collections. An outstanding sample !
