Two contrasting Musical ambiances
Salle des Etoiles – Sporting Monte-Carlo
23 march 2013

altUnder the Presidency of Their Serene Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Monaco and Her Royal Highness the Princess of Hanover, the “Rocher” Rose Ball — in aid of the Fondation Princesse Grace — will take place in the Salle des Etoiles on 23 March 2013.
Let’s have a «Beauty & Pop» gala! that was Karl Lagerfeld’s first reaction when H.R.H the Princess of Hanover has asked him to imagine a «Bal de la Rose» in honour of the 150th anniversary of the Société des Bains de Mer. Karl Lagerfeld has chosen for the show a strong contrast between a classic 1900 ball, very ‘Belle Epoque’ and an after party decidedly and crazily « Pop ».

The Prague Concert Philharmonic counts today some one hundred and fifty members, at least one hundred of whom are permanent. This group of musicians, which represents the largest private orchestra in Europe, enjoys a significant international reputation. It often performs on stages all across Europe and is the regular guest of European cities. The Prague Concert Philharmonic has had the privilege of working under the direction of prestigious conductors such as Yehudi Menuhin, Georg Solti, Carl Davis, André Bernard, Giuseppe Raffa and José Collado, and collaborates with leading national and international soloists. The orchestra is currently directed by Jerôme Kuhn, a graduate of Lausanne’s University of Music. He studied to be a conductor at the Freiburg conservatory.
